Pollution Risk Services is a pioneer in the development of environmental contamination clean up programs that combine environmental liability and risk transfer.

Our Clean Sweep program was developed to enable companies to enter into a comprehensive "Liability Buyout" for environmentally contaminated sites. With the Clean Sweep program, liability associated with the contaminated site is transferred from the responsible party/parties to Pollution Risk Services for a firm fixed dollar amount. Pollution Risk Services then manages the site-remediation activities and returns the contaminated site to full regulatory compliance.

The primary difference between the Clean Sweep and Clean Break programs is that Pollution Risk Services assumes ownership of the site. Taking ownership of the site relieves the responsible party/parties from any and all future liability associated with the contaminated site, including offsite contamination caused by the site. As always Clean Sweep activities are supported fully by an A.M. Best "A" rated insurance product to protect the owner/ownership group of the contaminated site.

The end result is a "Clean Sweep" of all past, present, or future financial, environmental, or regulatory site responsibilities.
